JT Townsend Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to better the lives of children and adults with disabilities on the First Coast by providing financial assistance, adaptive equipment, and research funding.

Through this Foundation, we plan to better the lives of others with disabilities. “My family and I were very blessed to have the support of our extended family, friends, and the Jacksonville community,” said Founder, JT Townsend.

Our Impact
We help families take their next first step.
Providing expensive, medically approved equipment, even when insurance/medicaid denies it, we help make living with a disabled child or family member as easy as possible.
There is uncertainty when a disability from an injury or a serious medical diagnosis occurs. We have helped provide wheelchairs, standers, cruisers, adaptive equipment and even pool heaters!
How Can I Get Help?
Are you disabled, in need of help and living in Northeast Florida?
Do you know of someone who is in this position? JT Townsend has pledged to give back to the community that so generously helped him when he needed help most in his life.
His foundation’s vision is to pay it forward by reaching out to those that are in the position he found himself in in 2004.

Champions for Hope hosts an annual celebrity charity gala and golf tournament, which raises funds and brings awareness to The JT Townsend Foundation.
This amazing event is held at the TPC Sawgrass golf course, home of The Players Championship golf tournament.
